I’m Freezing

Posted by desertmama on October 23rd, 2007

I am always cold! Okay, its probably not that bad and I know part of it is the change of seasons….this time of year always seems cooler at (say) 65 degrees than it’ll feel in another month at 65 when I’ve adjusted to it. But, right now, I’m cold most of the time.

Previous pregnancies, I don’t think I ever wore a long-sleeved shirt. I had a couple of light-weight jackets that I’d pull on, but mostly I was warm.

This time, I had to go buy some long-sleeved shirts and I often wear one of the light-weight jackets on top of it.

Our house is at 74 degrees right now and I’m wearing a long-sleeve shirt and will probably go grab a little jacket to pull on. Is this normal for having lost 25 pounds?

I’m cold too! When I was pregnant with DS, I was constantly hot. This time, thus far, I have been cold. And I started this pregnancy out a little heavier, so not sure why. NOW…when I lost my weight the first time (45#) I was cold ALL THE TIME! I missed that extra layer of fat I used to have around me. :)

Geez, I wish I could relate!! I’m HOT FLASHING like CRAZY here! In the mornings I can’t move without breaking out in a sweat!! I don’t think I have ever experienced it like this. (If this is what menopause is like, you can count me out!!). However, BEFORE I got PG I was always cold, and I had just lost 35#. The extra layer of insulation was definitely helpful in keeping me warm before.
