Now, Shouldn’t I be happy

I had my weigh in today….before I give the results let me say …Last week was not a perfect one. I ate out 3 times!!!! on Tues…Ruby tues salad bar with 2 ruby minis (w/o bread), Thursday, baseball game I had a hot dog and Cracker Jacks and Sat. I had sushi. Today…I had my weigh in and I am down .2. Now I should be happy…Heck, I went into the meeting  thinking I pray I have a lost, but I will be happy for a break even. …So what is my problem?  Not to mention…I still have not started a reg work out system.

  1. I do that all the time! I’ll eat something bad (or really, really bad like my case last week) and still have a loss. I get frustated because I’ll have a perfect (in my opinion) week & the scale won’t budge. I definately understand how not all losses make you happy, there’s always other stuff going on! If you can, try to do some kind of exercise (even if it’s just 10-15 minutes) a couple of times a week. I never liked working out before, but now I understand what that “endorphin rush” is all about. It takes time and sacrifice, but it’s well worth it!

  2. Considering the week, at least it was a loss… maybe not a big one, but still in the right direction ;)

  3. I know, it is frustrating. Jynell (31 more days) calls it an undeserved loss. But really, sometimes it is that the overall healthy eating has shown up on the scale and the number may not be a reflection about where you are right now.
Keep on trying to stay OP as much as possible.
I find when the scale moves after a week that I feel I “worked” at staying OP, I feel better about the number (even if I got a bigger loss during an “undeserved” week). Sometimes we just need to feel like we’ve worked for our reward.
