Don’t feel/see the lost
Hey I have lost 11.4lbs, BUT I don’t see it. I tell you …If it wasn’t for the weekly weigh in I would not believe I have lost a thing.

Don’t get discouraged… I’m sure really soon your clothes will get baggy and you’ll start to feel/see it! You’re doing great so keep it up!

thats a bummer- I started to notice a difference right about 10-12 lbs. I suggest taking your measurements. I was shocked to see I’d lost 1/2 - 1 inch in places.

Take your measurements and log them by date. I started doing that early on because the little losses were discouraging. So far I’ve lost 8 pounds and 2 inches total! Had I not taken my measurements I wouldn’t know how many inches I’ve lost. It feels great to see the measuring tape get smaller even if the scale isn’t moving much.
11.4 pounds is great, congrats! You should be doing a happy dance :).

Yes, I am right there with you - I can’t see a difference and my clothes seem to be fitting the same. Hopefully one day we’ll just wake up and notice we’re thinner!

That’s such a great idea to do the measurements. I, too, I have lost 16.8 pounds and I am in the same size pants- ug! I will try that! Congrats as well on your 11.4 lose- that is something to celebrate!!

I’m in the DC area also, in Southern Maryland. We have similar weight goals. I’m 5′10-5′11″ (depending on how straight I stand) and am aiming for around 170. You can check out my before and after pics. I’m still about 30 lbs away, but it can be encouraging to see someone of similar body frame’s weight coming off. I’m glad you’re sticking to it, be proud of yourself!!
