Starting Over

Posted by brokedownrage on February 25th, 2008

I started WW at 204 - got down to my first 10% and then stopped. I was “busy” and stressed and just didn’t want to do it anymore.

Then I started going to a personal trainer, a big investment! I knew it was also time to come back to WW!

I joined and did paperwork today but my first meeting is tomorrow (because I found out the leader I wanted doesn’t do Mondays).

WW Round One: Starting Weight 204. Ending Weight 182.

WW Round Two: Starting Weight 186.6.

Weigh In Whoo Hoo

Posted by brokedownrage on October 11th, 2007

Down!

And another victory - last night I got off work very late (I’ve been pulling 60 hour work weeks as of late) and went through the drive thru of a fast food place because I was tired and hungry and thinking I needed something “good.” I sat there in my car looking at the menu and thinking when the thought hit me - I DON’T NEED THIS - so I drove off and went home. Yay for me!!!!

Food Log

From Tuesday 10/9

I’m kind of taking a break from “points” and just counting calories because it’s quicker and I can use sparkpeople.com for free. I’m still going to my weight watcher at work meetings though for support, ideas and weigh-ins for now. I’m also tracking my protein because I don’t eat meat and want to make sure I’m getting enough.

A new day - A new diet plan

Posted by brokedownrage on October 9th, 2007

Ok the binge eating of whatever I want needs to stop - and today it did. So far, so good. I’m sticking, for a while, to a very simple basic meal plan with low calories and not tons of variety - why, because I need some discipline - bad.

I went shopping last night and got high (”high” 7g, whatever) protein slim fast powder, light soy milk, a low cal cereal, fruits and veggies, a few lean protein sources and some frozen 300 calorie meals for the nights I work late.

7 am – slim fast shake

10 am – 100 calorie snack

12 – lunch, cereal and fruit

3pm – 100 cal snack

(Time?) Dinner 300-400 calorie meal with lots of veggies!

It’s around 1,000 calories. (Please note, that’s not enough calories for everyone, I’m really short though. Most people need 1200 or 1500 a day minimum.) On days when I work out I will add another 200-300 calories or some kind of carb/protein mix.

Note to self: Do not give up!

Posted by brokedownrage on October 8th, 2007

Someone seriously, come to my house, knock on my door,  and kick my butt!

My eatting is out of conrol! It needs to stop NOW. I thought about it all the way home and what did I do for lunch? Fattening eatting out with co workers. I’m working 50-60 hours a week and eatting out two meals a day again. Ugh. I’ve gained back some weight. I’m not working out.

*screams*

MIA

Posted by brokedownrage on September 25th, 2007

Sorry to be so MIA this week! I’m super super busy at work (now through end of March is our busy season plus we got new software today.) I’m doing horrible with food this week - very very bad. The worst week since starting weight watchers. It’s going to be a struggle to eat right while working these crazy hours!

Reboot

Posted by brokedownrage on September 21st, 2007

My attitude was totally crashed out yesterday with my sad little showing at the scale. I went directly out to lunch with girls from my office and ate a huge baked potato with lots of butter and cheese and a big cookie and about a gallon of Ice Tea. Ugh.

I wanted to just go home after work instead of going to the gym. I wanted to see my kids and my husband and just skip it for the night.

But I wouldn’t let myself. I got changed and headed to the gym anyway. I had a killer work out and did more miles than ever. I left there feel like I had given my diet a “reboot”. I went home and eat a healthy dinner with fish and veggies, played with the kids and had a great night. I went to bed early, so tired! But feeling good again!

Stupid Scale

Posted by brokedownrage on September 20th, 2007

I’m a little mad. I worked out, I stayed in my point range, etc and I only lost 6 oz this week! I was really hoping for a one or more lbs loss this week! Why does it seem like that better week I have the worse I do at the scale? Seriously - I’ve had weeks where I ate fast food for lunch more than once in the week and I lost more weight than this. Grrr!

Tonight is a gym night, I’ll take out my fustrations there!
