Gotcha with Captcha!

Just a bit of community news

I installed a captcha in the sign-up process. A captcha is a graphical phrase or number sequence you have have to enter before signing up. If you log out and then go to the sign in page, you will be able to see it. This will, hopefully, stop all the spam blogs we were getting.

Now on to spam comments, how are they doing, are you guys still getting bombarded? A few solutions I dug up may help. It just may take a new a few weeks to get them installed.

Let me know!

Oh! I almost forgot. I fixed the blogger import feature. All should be good now!

I haven’t gotten any SPAM comments in a while but I was also adding the SPAM ips to the blocked list. I hope captcha works.
Thanks for doing all this for us!

Roni, the spam comments are definitely better! I found that I had a few posts with links to major news sites, and they attracted most of the spammers. Once I added the sign-in and deleted the posts (because deleting the link didn’t work), they were gone!
