Upgrade = Cool Sidebar Custimization!!!
The upgrade has brought us Widgets! These widgets allow us to customize our sidebars with text, RSS feeds, types of links, etc. Check it out it’s SUPER cool.
Go to you dashboard, click on presentation and then widgets. I have done some quick tests and they work with all the templates. If you come across any problems, let me know.
Man I’m so happy I had the guts to upgrade. I was a little gun shy considering we just got the community back!
Have fun and post any questions or comments. If you used the new widgets, post your blog link in the comments so people can get an idea of what it possible.
Thank you - this is so great! The only problem I have is that I can’t totally customize the Freshy theme. It doesn’t give you the options to remove or move the Blogroll and Meta widgets just above the Google ad. I like the Meta near the top to link to Blog Admin quickly, but oh well. It’s neat to have the other flexibility there!
I’ll look into that tomorrow. I can probably fix it!
