Kick in the pants
Nothing like a kick in the pants to get you going and I got my kick in the pants today. Last week the wellness center at work did body assessments and I got the results yesterday. Mind you I had been feeling pretty good about things, my body, my weight, my fitness level and I was actually getting kind of lazy with the way I was eating. And then… I read the email.

I am still Level 2 obese… I didn’t know obesity had levels!
I am in the smallest size clothes as I have been in the last 10 years, but I still have a lot of weight and fat to lose. I have had a big problem lately of doing really good following the plan during the week and then on my weekend I eat like a… well… like I used to. Therefore I have been maintaining weight and not losing very much and I may even have another gain this week. I am still up two pounds today and weigh in is tomorrow.
So, I get it. I have to do better. At least I know what I need to do and can try to fix it. Here’s to kicks in the pants. Cheers!

Wow! That’s so awesome that your work does that for it’s employees! I wish our company did that, I’d be all over getting my kick in the butt.
Where can I sign up?
Congratulations on the clothing size you’ve dropped down to, 10 years is a long time - remember to celebrate how far you’ve come! Thank you for your encouragement yesterday, you guys made my day and I’m happy to report that I’m back on the wagon again! Thank you.
Here’s to moving on down the sizes together!
