Can your hip bones shrink?
So I hope this makes sense, can you be as skinny as the width between your hip bones. My husband thinks I am just a big boned person and couldn’t ever be really small. I agree partially. I measured the distance between my hip bones last night and it is 12 inches. I than measured his (he was laughing the whole time), and he is maybe an inch smaller. He is a very small slender man. So now my question is, can I really get down to about his size because of where my hip bones are? Or can your hip bones actually shrink in? I know I have large hips, but right now most of it is just flab.

Hmmm, I thought this was fascinating. I went and measured my hip bones. I also have about 12 inches from hip bone to hip bone. I’m currently at 151.4 and wearing a size 10 or 12. I weigh less than my DH (he’s around 165) and I tried on his Gap Easy Fit 33 inch waist jeans — they are loose on me.

This definitely gives me an idea. That is exactly what my husband weighs. There is hope to be that small again. When I met him I was that small so why can’t I be that small again. Thanks.
