Okay Okay Okay. Here I am. Finally. So let’s see…we left off on Wednesday. Thursday I actually ate really well (only used 2 flex points on a Kashi cookie) and then did an hour long run for my training. Thankfully the run felt great and although my calves are sore, and my hip feels a little sore, it has not been popping in and out which is what causes the real pain! Thank goodness! So here is Friday’s post…I will be honest and share what I ate…

*Just a note, I did run 4 miles right before I ate the pie..which is actually kinda depressing.
Danielle and I are going to start weighing in on the same day and then if we don’t lose we have to pay the other person $5. I can tell you right now that I absolutely cannot afford to not lose…both physically and financially. So here we go… I actually think it’s really going to help because I think my problem is that every week I start off good and keeping track of my points but because I have no set weigh-in day I get very lazy about keeping track of the good old flex points. I need this boost!!!
Okay so now we are updated until today (Saturday), I have eaten a banana and some oatmeal and I’m getting ready to go take my last licensure test! Woo-hoo! Wish me luck…talk to you soon! (really, I will!) Oh and I have a soccer game tonight so I will also be exercising today.
Just another note…I’m excited to keep track of my eating and training on my blog because in the past I have felt like when I work out a ton I don’t lose weight regardless of what I’m eating. I think my blog will help me find that balance. Hopefully!

Yesterday was the official start of marathon training. It was a four mile run with 4:00 minutes of uphill which ended up being more like 10 minutes (but hey…I guess that’s good!). The run went really well, we espcaped the rain, and my hip hasn’t been hurting one bit! PRAISE GOD!

1) You haven’t posted on your blog for 11 days straight. (Especially after writing this whole rant about how everyone should believe in you because they are going to be so blown away by your dedic…BLAH BLAH BLAH).
2) You can’t even remember the password to log you into your blog so that you actually can post.
3) Your clothes feel tighter, and coincidently are much less flattering.
4) Jenna posts on your blog to nag you and ask about your disappearance from the face of the earth.
SO….. just to let you all know. Yes it’s true that I haven’t posted in a long time. My life has been crazy. (Be prepared…now come the excuses) I am finishing up my master’s program and so with full-time teaching and all my classwork I’m exhausted by the end of the day. The good news is I already got a job nailed down for next year. I will be teaching 1st grade on the Spanish side of a Dual Language program…I can’t wait..although I must admit the switch from 5th to 1st is a little daunting to me at the moment! Aside from that, I have actually been eating well and sticking to Core the MAJORITY of the time. In all honesty I do need to be more dedicated and loyal to blogging what I’m eating because that is what helped me lose weight the first time and I really want to reach 125 by the time I graduate (June 15) at the latest. Jenna and have re-instituted or accounability plan (after realizing we sucked at following through as we never actually carried out the plan last time) and are calling each other daily to report what we ate and if we exercised. Today I was about to eat a cookie at school when I remembered that would mean I would have to admit that to Jenna later on this evening SOOO I decided against it!….oh the will power!!! :) Next week will start the official marathon training and I just want you all to know that I’ve been miraculously going to the gym:
Saturday: 40 min. run in the morning, 1 hour trip to gym in the evening.
Sunday: 30 min. run
Monday: 1 hour trip to the gym: lifted weights, rowing machine, ab excercises
Okay that’s all for now. I’ll update this later with my food for the day and tomorrow I’ll put my weight up (which isn’t good too good by the way, but honesty is the best policy!)

Well I did not end up weighing in today because TOM finally started this morning and I have had the worst cramps all day and feel like a giant monster. I did go for a run after I left the school which was actually kind of refreshing and eased the cramping pain. I am proud of how I ate today and looking forward to tomorrow and the starting over of Flex Points!!! Hasta manana…

I have made myself a vow not to step on the scale in my bathroom until Tuesday morning. I am going to weigh in Tuesday night and with TOM scheduled to arrive tomorrow I’m sure it will be interesting. I feel HUGE so that doesn’t help much either. Today I was fairly busy and ate a quick bowl of cereal before church and then WENT RUNNING!!! (woo-hoo!…training to start marathon training…doesn’t make much sense does it:( ) and planned at the school until 4:00 when I ate a bean burrito. It is now 10:04 and I am trying the Kash Go Lean cereal that has 10 GRAMS OF FIBER and is actually pretty good (although my standards and expectations have definitely lowered). Tomorrow I think I will try it with bananas for an even better tasting breakfast. Okay well I’m exhausted so I will check in tomorrow…no, seriously…I WILL. Night! (Back to reality tomorrow…bye bye spring break

Well my first week back on track has been a little crazy with the blogging. I started off really well and now I’m out of town working over Spring Break where it is a little harder to stay on plan. Today I will stay on PLAN and I am going to the gym later this evening so that should be fun! The other day I weighed in at 134.5 and am planning on weighing at the WW meeting this Thursday evening. Well I am out the door again, just wanted to quickly post something first. I have been neglecting my blog lately but THANKFULLY NOT because I’ve been off plan. I’ve actually been eating really really well but just been too busy and a little stressed to journal. I had what should my last interview at another elementary school this morning which has pretty much consumed my week up to this piont. Thankfully, the interview went well and I should hear later this evening.
Okay now back to the important stuff :) So far this week I’ve used 10 of my flex points (plus the 4 I just used on an ultra-healthy celebration muffin). Because of some special services at my church this week I was not able to weigh in, but will be sure to do it next Tuesday evening. This morning’s scale reading was 135.0 which I was actually really pleased to see. I am still hoping to reach my goal but I’m going to have to work really hard between now and then.
