Feels good to be back at this consistently again. I’m exhausted and really need to go to sleep so here is a quick food journal from today. I didn’t make it to the gym after school today :( …but I will definitely be getting a workout in tomorrow. Here’s the journal (try to ignore the ice cream) :)

Day 1 of Back on Track

26 02 2008

First of all, my goal is 125 by March 22nd…it’s going to be tough but I have to do the best I can. I had the idea that everyday this week I was going to use only one flex point each day which was to be spent on a chocolate VitaMuffin. Today started so well and then I went over and said goodbye to the twins that I have nannied for since they were 5 months old (they’re moving) and they had PIZZA for dinner. Surprisingly I survived fairly well and only had 2 pieces of veggie pizza. -oh, and I also did an hour of cycling today at the gym! WOO-HOO! 

Here is what I ate today: (tomorrow I might be brave enough to post the results of the scale)

Well I am out of town babysitting all weekend and, while my eating hasn’t been TOO out of control, it has been FAR FAR FAR from Core. I have just been eating whatever the kids eat as well as been giving into EMOTIONAL eating. Bad. Bad. Bad. So far today all I’ve had is a bowl of cereal so I guess that’s good. I can still make today a good day…I don’t have to wait til tomorrow to start over. :) I want to be at goal by March 22nd (125 lbs.). That gives me a little under a month to whip myself back into shape. There is no scale where I am so there’s so no way for me to tell the damage done this far BUUUUUT, based on the way I feel, it can’t be good. :( More to come… TONIGHT…



I’m sick of being such a flake…

This is a post from yesterday that I forgot to do last night. Overall it was a pretty good day and I even made it to the gym!  I weighed in at 136 :( (YIKES!) and I know I’m probably up but it’s also that wonderful time of the month this week so I’m hoping that has something to do with it.  Either way, it’s back to core I go…

P.S. I forgot to mention that last week I did meet my new workout goal which seems lame cause it’s only 3 days a week but hey…better than nothing!!!!

I’m going to make this quick cause it’s 9:49 and I’m tired and am just going to go to bed. I can’t remember the last time I went to bed this early. It’s going to feel great to get this much sleep…way better than my usual 5 or 5.5 hours. :( Today was an okay day. I ate fine until I went to dinner with a friend. I didn’t eat horrible but I felt disgusting afterward. I did make to the gym again today though.

 I told Danielle today that I have decided to tell myself I’m “training.” Normally when I’m training I NEVER slack off the workout schedule because I don’t even let NOT going be an option. That is what I’ve decided to do. I’ve decided it’s not an option to NOT make time for the gym. Two days down in a row! Yay!

It is Monday morning. I’m starting the week off right. I have to change back to the weekly meeting time since I NEVER seem to be in town on Saturday morning. I had a pretty good weekend, got a lot done but didn’t do so great in the eating department. I never really over-ate, I just didn’t make the best choices. I did however play two soccer games this weekend (so Danielle, I did not meet my goal from last week of going to the gym 3 times). Here is my food chart for today. I gotta hurry and run to the school. Oh by the way…I am taking work out clothes and going to the gym STRAIGHT from the elementary school…regardless of how starving I am. I have got to finish off these last few pounds! Have a good day!

Hungry and Tired…

Why am I so tired lately? Today I got home from the elementary school and felt like I was going to die of starvation if I didn’t immediately eat everything in sight. :( Thankfully, the only thing “in sight” at my house is Core so that saved me. I think (after much nagging) I am going to join Danielle’s challenge and try to set my goal to make it to the gym 3x a week.  I was going to make it 4 but I feel like 3 is more reasonable and attainable due to how overwhelmed I’ve been lately. So let’s see…I weighed on Friday morning at 132.6 and then I weighed in at the WW meeting at 134. I am excited to have a good Core week ahead of me and getting to my goal of 125. I made it to the gym today which was exciting and my goal is to go at least 4 days next week. Alright well I’m heading to bed….happy losing to all!
