<p>**update**</p>
<p>So, today was a &#8220;snacky&#8221; day for me&#8230;  I&#8217;ve said it before &amp; I know so many of you can relate, but when there is stress, my hands take over &amp; just begin to shovel whatever sounds good or is there at the moment.  My &#8220;super huge news&#8221; is that WE ARE BUILDING A HOUSE!!!  There are so many details &amp; all kinds of stuff for me to tell you about- I can&#8217;t right now b/c my kids are still awake &amp; interrupting every 2.8 seconds&#8230;  but I promise I will give more details soon.  But, that is why I&#8217;m stressed- options &amp; money &amp; timing&#8230;  stress, stress, STRESS!!!  Hopefully things will settle down soon&#8230;  here&#8217;s the menu for today&#8230;  not too bad&#8230;   I may still grab my Monday night cappuccino while I grocery &amp; Wal-mart shop&#8230;  we&#8217;ll see&#8230;</p>

<p>So, as far as why I&#8217;ve (finally) decided to start on Sunday&#8230;just a few thoughts (if any of you care or are struggling with when to start too!)</p>
<p>- My hubby is counting points!!  He likes to be able to eat &amp; have fun with friends on the weekend &amp; doesn&#8217;t want to have to &#8220;behave&#8221; the whole weekend.  I want to support him &amp; so I&#8217;m going to keep my WI day w/ him.  I&#8217;m so excited- he&#8217;s already down 5 lbs!!!</p>
<p>-I do need to be able to &#8220;let my hair down&#8221; with friends &amp; have a little more than normal occasionally.  We usually get together with friends every weekend &amp; I don&#8217;t want to be worrying about my WI on Monday morning after a piggy weekend!</p>
<p>Anyway, there were a few other things I had thought, but my tired brain can&#8217;t recall right now&#8230;  in any case&#8230;.  My WI this morning was 152.4 lbs.   That&#8217;s DOWN 2.5 LBS since just under a week ago!!  <img src='http://blogs.weightwatchen.com/31moredays/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif' alt=':D' class='wp-smiley' />  I&#8217;m really hoping to see the 140&#8217;s next week!!  Gotta run, our house needs some cleaning b4 our friends show up!! <p>I always love the scale the first week back OP after being off track for a while!  Every morning I wake up to see what new lower number there will be, and in the first week back OP, I&#8217;m rarely disappointed!  Sunday morning, I weighed in at 155.7 (OUCH!)  4 days later, I&#8217;m &#8220;down&#8221; almost 3 pounds!!  Obviously I hadn&#8217;t really gained it all back that quickly, but it sure feels good to have the scale prove it (cause I was really starting to wonder for a while there&#8230;)  Anyway, I DON&#8217;T want to continue having the joy of watching the scale plummet at break neck speeds ever again after this week.  Obviously it&#8217;s going to fluctuate- I&#8217;m fine with that, but once I get back down there, I don&#8217;t ever want to see a number higher than 145 again!  I am (again) setting that as my comfort limit &amp; this time, I&#8217;m going to stick to it instead of ignoring it &amp; telling myself that I&#8217;ll lose it w/o much effort.  Obviously that bit of arrogance got me an extra 10 lbs to lose, so that strategy didn&#8217;t work too well!  Anyway, here&#8217;s to another OP day in the making- hope you all have good days too!!  <img src='http://blogs.weightwatchen.com/31moredays/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif' alt=':D' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So I got a hair cut today&#8230;  A LOT of my hair is GONE!!  My hair used to be down to my shoulder blades or longer &amp; now it can barely make it into a pony tail&#8230;  hopefully the scale will be down tomorrow (not that it really counts&#8230; but I&#8217;ll take it!)</p>
<p>Anyway, I&#8217;m not sure if I like it yet or not, &amp; my hubby is pretty sure that he doesn&#8217;t, so the scale being down would at least make me feel a little better.  I&#8217;m not sure if I even want to post any pictures- it&#8217;s not like anyone is going to actually say &#8220;it looks horrible&#8221;, so who cares, I guess I&#8217;ll either get used to it or hope it grows fast!!</p>
<p>Anyway&#8230;  here&#8217;s my menu.  It was a good day- I didn&#8217;t even pig out at dinner even though I was STARVING by the time I got back from the salon &amp; feeling insecure about my hair.  So, hopefully tomorrow will be even better!!  Have a good night all!!  I have a few mountains of laundry calling my name!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Ok, so I know that Roni in all her techy genius awesomeness has a new site up and all, but I haven&#8217;t signed up yet &amp; I just need to write- hopefully some of you are still reading over here!  <img src='http://blogs.weightwatchen.com/31moredays/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif' alt=':D' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>So first, I have to apologize.  I come back, start to post &amp; get back to &#8220;normal&#8221;, ask you all for your opinions, get some great answers &amp; then I fall off the face of the earth AGAIN!  I don&#8217;t know what&#8217;s up with me right now,  there is so much going on &amp; I&#8217;m having a really hard time with my weight.  I&#8217;m sure many of you can relate- when you get stressed, you reach for the comfort foods, &amp; you sit in front of the boob tube to veg with a snack.  It HAS to stop.  My clothes are starting to not fit right (confession: I skipped church ON MOTHER&#8217;S DAY b/c I couldn&#8217;t find anything to wear!  My poor hubby took the kids &amp; went without me&#8230;)  I know that I haven&#8217;t gone back to where I started over a year ago, but I have gained too much back.  I am beyond my comfort zone &amp; I don&#8217;t want to go any further in the wrong direction.</p>
<p>I AM GOING TO POST MY MENUS!!!</p>

<p>On the good side, (and I&#8217;m sure <a href="http://takingthereins.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Erin</a> will be happy to hear) I have started running &amp; training for another 5K!!  Dr. Drill &amp; the current platoon will be racing there &amp;  my friend &amp; former Boot Camp buddy <a href="http://orionscontemplation.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Rigel </a>and I are going to take them on!!  When I ran <a href="http://blogs.weightwatchen.com/31moredays/2007/11/17/5k-report/">my first 5k</a> back in November, I did all of my running on the track during Boot Camp.  It<strong> really</strong> hurt me when those hills came!!  So, I&#8217;ve mapped out a run from my house- there are LOTS of hills!!!  Right now, that&#8217;s hurting me b/c I can&#8217;t go the full distance running with the hills, but I know it&#8217;s going to make a huge difference when I get out there on June 8th!!  My goals are  just to make it under 30 minutes without having to walk.  That would improve my time by more than 3 minutes &amp; hopefully there won&#8217;t by any horrible side stitches this time around!</p>
<p>SO, other than that I&#8217;m going to (once again) track points &amp; run my (big fat) tushee off!!  I want to lose 5 lbs &amp; be back in the 140&#8217;s by race day &amp; then I want to be back at my comfy 142 by my birthday.  We&#8217;ll see where I go or not from there!</p>
<p>So here&#8217;s my menu for today.  I&#8217;m not going to wait to start points on a Friday, I&#8217;m just going to go!  Maybe having to save up my points will help me behave better during the weekends!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>How many of you WI &amp; start new points on the same day?  Does anyone WI one day and then start new points the next?   I&#8217;m thinking about doing my WI on Friday morning, but starting new points on Saturday.  That way, I will still have to save up flex points to use for Friday night &amp; I can still do my best to behave, but if there is something I reeaaallly want to have with everyone else, it isn&#8217;t going to hurt my WI &amp; I&#8217;ll have some time to work it off during the week.  Is that cheating?  What do you think??</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;m changing my WI  day to Fridays.  We normally go out with friends on Friday nights &amp; I HATE being the only one who has no bread, no appetizer, no salad, no dessert, no coffee!!  Even if I have the extra flex points to behave &amp; enjoy all of that, it still boosts my Saturday WI numbers, so I end up feeling left out..  <img src='http://blogs.weightwatchen.com/31moredays/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif' alt=':(' class='wp-smiley' />  SO, like it or not, I&#8217;m switching my WI day to Friday mornings.  I may use more FP&#8217;s early in the week, but that just means I&#8217;ll have to behave better later in the week- which is fine by me!</p>
<p>So, anyway&#8230;  I did actually come back on Thursday &amp; write a nice long post with all of my menu &amp; activity points from playing volleyball&#8230;  but unfortunately I fell asleep before I saved it &amp; then tried to load a different page &amp; lost it all!  I was too tired to re-do it all, so I didn&#8217;t.  Thursday was good for the most part- except for after volleyball.  We decided to hit Chilli&#8217;s with some of our v-ball buddies.  I was going to be reallllly good &amp; only have a diet coke&#8230;  but then the chips &amp; salsa came with the curly chips that were fresh &amp; still warm- the homemade salsa&#8230;  it&#8217;s one of my favorites!!!   Then my hubby &amp; our friends ordered an awesome blossom &amp; buffalo chicken strips&#8230;  <img src='http://blogs.weightwatchen.com/31moredays/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif' alt=':(' class='wp-smiley' />  I only had one bite of the chicken strips, but the awesome blossom was just soooooo good.  That counts as a vegetable right?  lol&#8230;&#8230;<br />
So anyway&#8230;  Friday&#8217;s WI wasn&#8217;t as good as it would have been w/o all that extra salt the night before, but I&#8217;m taking it for this week, b/c we did have a lot of fun out with our friends last night!  Next week will be better- promise!!</p>
<p>So here&#8217;s the damage&#8230;  only down 0.3 lbs this week&#8230;.   down is down, right!  I WILL SEE A <strong>4</strong> NEXT WEEK <u><strong> FOR SURE!!</strong></u></p>
