15 05 2008** update**
So, the evening didn’t go as well as the day started out, but that’s what the Flex points are there for- right? We ended up going out for dinner & I stay w/in my points pretty well- even at our favorite pizza place! Afterwards, I had a “date night” with my 6-year old daughter. We went to Color Me Mine to paint some pottery together (she wants to be an artist)
& then drove through Mc-E D’s for a little treat. Don’t ask about the Chex mix… my hand just took control & started shoving it into my mouth while I was watching season finales…. Planning to run in the morning! Have a good night!!
I always love the scale the first week back OP after being off track for a while! Every morning I wake up to see what new lower number there will be, and in the first week back OP, I’m rarely disappointed! Sunday morning, I weighed in at 155.7 (OUCH!) 4 days later, I’m “down” almost 3 pounds!! Obviously I hadn’t really gained it all back that quickly, but it sure feels good to have the scale prove it (cause I was really starting to wonder for a while there…) Anyway, I DON’T want to continue having the joy of watching the scale plummet at break neck speeds ever again after this week. Obviously it’s going to fluctuate- I’m fine with that, but once I get back down there, I don’t ever want to see a number higher than 145 again! I am (again) setting that as my comfort limit & this time, I’m going to stick to it instead of ignoring it & telling myself that I’ll lose it w/o much effort. Obviously that bit of arrogance got me an extra 10 lbs to lose, so that strategy didn’t work too well! Anyway, here’s to another OP day in the making- hope you all have good days too!!

That darn water weight will get you ALL the time! But it does feel better when you see that it wasn’t really a gain!
