How many of you WI & start new points on the same day? Does anyone WI one day and then start new points the next? I’m thinking about doing my WI on Friday morning, but starting new points on Saturday. That way, I will still have to save up flex points to use for Friday night & I can still do my best to behave, but if there is something I reeaaallly want to have with everyone else, it isn’t going to hurt my WI & I’ll have some time to work it off during the week. Is that cheating? What do you think??

I’m changing my WI day to Fridays. We normally go out with friends on Friday nights & I HATE being the only one who has no bread, no appetizer, no salad, no dessert, no coffee!! Even if I have the extra flex points to behave & enjoy all of that, it still boosts my Saturday WI numbers, so I end up feeling left out..
SO, like it or not, I’m switching my WI day to Friday mornings. I may use more FP’s early in the week, but that just means I’ll have to behave better later in the week- which is fine by me!
So, anyway… I did actually come back on Thursday & write a nice long post with all of my menu & activity points from playing volleyball… but unfortunately I fell asleep before I saved it & then tried to load a different page & lost it all! I was too tired to re-do it all, so I didn’t. Thursday was good for the most part- except for after volleyball. We decided to hit Chilli’s with some of our v-ball buddies. I was going to be reallllly good & only have a diet coke… but then the chips & salsa came with the curly chips that were fresh & still warm- the homemade salsa… it’s one of my favorites!!! Then my hubby & our friends ordered an awesome blossom & buffalo chicken strips…
I only had one bite of the chicken strips, but the awesome blossom was just soooooo good. That counts as a vegetable right? lol……
So anyway… Friday’s WI wasn’t as good as it would have been w/o all that extra salt the night before, but I’m taking it for this week, b/c we did have a lot of fun out with our friends last night! Next week will be better- promise!!
So here’s the damage… only down 0.3 lbs this week…. down is down, right! I WILL SEE A 4 NEXT WEEK FOR SURE!!

I have eaten a yummy, hot breakfast in my comfy & quiet, kid free bedroom 2 DAYS IN A ROW!!! :D No, I can not send him you or share my hubby with you- HE’S MINE!! :D Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah-nah!! (Sorry, couldn’t resist!!)

I felt bad b/c I only ate one of the eggs he made me this morning (b/c he remembered no jam for dipping)- but I just couldn’t afford the points…. of course he noticed… I felt bad that he felt bad & I of course really wanted to eat it b/c it was realllly yummy… but I just can’t eat 1/3 or more of my daily points for breakfast….

So my sweet hubby surprised me with breakfast in bed this morning!! I ate a few more points than I wanted to, but luckily DH put jam on my toast, so I had nothing to soak up the “dippy” part of my “dippy eggs”. I ended up pretty much just eating the whites, so that saved me points wise. He also made breakfast for & fed the kids while I ate in comfy peace! Aren’t you all jealous!

and for once, I’m glad! I’m not sure why… but for some reason, I’ve been looking forward to the start of a new week. Odd, I know… get used to it or stop reading, cause that’s just me!!

But, it did take a toll on the flex points….
I had a yummy, healthy dinner all planned (grilled chicken, veggie kabobs & brown rice). I probably would have actually been UNDER my points for the day- even with the cake!! Anyway, I was just about to start cooking when DH says, “the kids are going to my moms, where do you want to go for dinner tonight?” To be fair, we haven’t had a date night in a while & it’s been pretty busy lately, so to go out just the two of us was really nice. I told him that wherever we went, we should split something- better for the budget & the diet! So, we decided on Macaroni Grill. Now, I’ve ordered my own plates there many times… I KNOW how much food the normal portion is. The bowl is normally filled to the TOP! It really is a ridiculous amount of food that they serve (another reason we decided to split there). BUT, when our plates come out (they split it for us), the food barely covered the bottom of the bowl. I had 3 TINY pieces of chicken & barely any mushrooms or onions- hubby’s was the same. Dottie’s site says that the dish we ordered is normally 32 points!! Honestly, I believe it- the normal portions, with normal amounts of chicken & sauce- absolutely 32 points. However, there is NO WAY that what they gave us last night was a 1/2 portion. I’d say more like a 1/3 of a normal portion, so there’s the “rip off” & lower points explanation in my menu below. I am actually glad to not put down 16 points for dinner… but I would like to be eating the leftovers for lunch!! Anyway… enough about that… all in all it was a really nice night with my sweetie. I resisted his pleas to go somewhere else for a second course or his attempts to get me into an ice cream or coffee shop! We actually ended up going to Wal-Mart (how romantic, I know!) BUT we bought a 1000 piece puzzle (which he normally hates doing, but knows I enjoy) & then worked on that together while we watched The Guardian. If you haven’t seen it, I have to say it was much better than either of us expected- give it a shot. Anyway… that was my weekend. Hope you all had good ones too!!

Hopefully it won’t be too ugly though… I did buy strawberries & carrots w/ LF dip for the party. I plan to stay away from the taco dip, cheese curls & candy, BUT, I can’t not have a piece of my mom’s cake! I think I’m going to really skimp on dinner to try to balance that out… wish me luck!!

Sorry I’ve been MIA for a few days. This weekend has been pretty crazy already & it’s just starting. As far as my last post goes… unfortunately, I did eventually get up off the couch to scoop myself the last little bit of the ice cream… BUT, my husband had already eaten it!!! I didn’t track carefully on Thursday & Friday- I was actually probably fine points wise on Thursday because I played volleyball for a few hours Thursday night & in between games I did some Boot Camp exercises- which I’m still a bit sore from! So anyway, the AP’s from that probably covered me if I was over slightly- last night was a different story… I know I was over. We had friends over… my hubby only ordered pizza that had major toppings…. & my friend made this reeaaalllly yummy dessert- and of course I didn’t want to be rude…
Anyway… I did try to behave myself and at least stick with small portions… and…….
my weigh in this morning was……
DOWN 1.3 LBS!!!!!

It’s not quite as much as I wanted to see for my first week back…. but I’ll take it & I know that by next week I should WILL be seeing a 4 in the middle again! Today is my daughter’s birthday party, so the menu I post later tonight isn’t going to be pretty, but I’m going to try really hard to behave… we’ll see how many flexies I have left for the rest of the week….. I’ll post again later- I AM going back to full tracking- promise!!

There is ice cream in my freezer just SCREAMING my name!!!
My thought process….
“I have enough flex points for 1.5 scoops… that isn’t enough! I could eat it and then go to the gym to earn the activity points so that I can finish off the 1/2 gallon… no I shouldn’t do that… BUT I WANT TO!!!!”
Arghhhhh!!! I HATE cravings!!!
