31 MORE Days!

But, I wanted to let you all know that I’ve decided to start a new blog on my own.  It’s not going to be about weight loss, although since I plan to continue using what I’ve learned from WW & continue losing, I’m sure I will talk about it now and again.  My new blog is going to be more about me, everyday life, random thoughts, goals, lists, & mom stuff in general.  I don’t want to detract from the focus at Roni’s, so that is why I’ve decided to start something new.

I hope that if you’ve enjoyed reading my blog here that you’ll email me (just leave a comment) to get my new blog address & drop by for a visit.  I know that I’ll still be stopping by to read about & catch up with all of my favorite Weight Watchen friends.  Without all of you & your awesome supportive comments, I would have given up when things were tough.  I <3 you all!! 

Last, I have to say a great BIG thank you to Roni!!!   So much of my initial motivation and inspiration came because I stumbled onto your site.  You are the reason why I started this journey almost a year ago.  Then you outdo yourself & create a whole community & give us all a place to chat and connect- our own blogs with automatic readers & accountability- the past year here has been AMAZING!!  “Thank you” just doesn’t seem like enough….

In any case, all that to say, I will still be around here & will still post from time to time, but if you really want see the smoke pouring from my ears & hear the wheels turn (ie. listen to me ramble!)  let me know & I will send you the link to my “new place”.

So, please pardon the slightly “sales-pitchy” post to follow.

So, you may notice the Michael W. Smith box in my sidebar if you scroll down far enough…  I stumbled across a site that told me how to get a free copy of his new Christmas CD.  I LOVE free & happen to enjoy MWS also- so I did.  One of the stipulations was that I listen to the CD and write a short post about my experience.

So, we put our Christmas tree the other night & decided to listen to the new CD while we did.  I’d already listened to it a few times before & I like it, but hubby hadn’t.  It was nice… but for something like decorating the Christmas tree, honestly it just didn’t cut it- for him more than me, but still.   We ended up putting on the radio station that played all the old Christmas Classics, seemed much more fitting.  Please don’t get me wrong- I really do enjoy the MWS cd- I’ll play it when we have company for the holidays & in the car, but certain things just need the classic Christmas music… ya know?

Check out this site that I happened to stumble upon as I was surfing this afternoon!  I have to say that I’m impressed- so many celebs run straight to the plastic surgeon to “fix themselves”.  I think she still looks great & glad to see that she’s not embarrassed by her “mommy badges”.
