Final reward!!! :D

I’ve decided to give myself some motivation on these last 7 lbs.!! To this point, I haven’t really given myself any “rewards” for reaching certain weight loss marks. I’ve bought new clothes as I’ve needed & till now that’s been fine. I feel like I’ve slowed down in a major way & I just want to GET THERE & BE DONE!!! I am such a competition/goal oriented person, I know that a final reward will kick my butt into high gear!! SO…. what is it that I want you ask? New bedroom furniture!! :D

I’m so excited!! I know that if I work hard I could have these babies in my bedroom before my hubby turns 30 at the end of September!! They would look SO nice in my bedroom!! Can’t wait!!! :D

****  YES- my push ups ticker is correct, I did do 60 push ups so far today.  I may do some more tonight…  we’ll see.  Trying to figure out what my goal for the week should be, but don’t want to go too unrealistic….   but at the same time, I know that Boot Camp is coming fast & it’s gonna hit hard, so I want to be sure I’m ready!!  :D  14 more days!!!

Really…  it was bad!  I haven’t been tracking, but for the most part - with the exception of the party & today, been eating pretty well & getting a ton of exercise…  It was just one of those days where all the leftover party food and any other semi- scrumptious morsel of food in my house was SCREAMING my name!!  Very frustrating- BUT, I know that just because I have one bad day- or some weeks even two bad days- doesn’t mean that I can’t still see a loss come Friday.  So, I’ll be back on track tomorrow- lots more volleyball & push ups to play/do this week.    Gonna  hit the sack early tonight- for me anyway…  before 2 am…    Have a great day tomorrow everyone!!  :D



Push ups Challenge

Alright… so I did my 30 today & I have to say that my number of reps per set has gone up. I’m doing 2 sets of 15 now, so I am excited about that! :D There were a few days this week thought that I either didn’t do any or didn’t make my full 30 b/c I was too sore. I’m not sure if I was sore from the push ups or from all the volleyball drills…. either way, this week had been FULL of activity points. I’m going to estimate around 15 HOURS of volleyball (minimum of low intensity- at least 1/2 of the time moderate to high intensity) plus the push ups! So that’s good & I love to be active. :D Anyway… back to my push up challenge with JFarrlley… I don’t know if it’s “cheating” or not to do more than 30 push ups in one day…. (and I did email him earlier in the week to see what our rules were… but didn’t get a reply) BUT…. I am SO close to being at 150… & I think I could maybe push out an extra 11 after that (just b/c I am a COMPETITION freak!! lol! :D) & since he’s already declared victory… maybe if he’s already in bed I can pull a late night sneak attack at the buzzer! LOL!! Either way… I’m gonna see what I can put out before bedtime. Be back to update when I’m done!

Alright, I’m done & I’m pooped & I’m pretty sure I’m going to be SORE tomorrow, but I did it & then a little bit more!! :D So… JFarrlley, you have 15 minutes to pump out a few more- I’m finished! Also, I forgot to mention…  I added a new(er) progression photo today.  The last one that I’d posted (IMHO) is kind of hard to see progress b/c I’m in a skirt… here’s one with me in some pants.  :D

Wow, I have been so busy lately!!! So much going on with volleyball practices, school starting, kids & plain old “normal life”!! Tomorrow is my daughter’s birthday party. She just turned four & of course we’ll be having the so completely, wonderfully, delicious & sinful Rainbow Dash (My Little Ponies) birthday cake made by my Mom. I’ll have the flex points & I’m SURE they’ll be mostly gone by tomorrow night, but that’s ok! I’ve been earning so many AP’s at volleyball practice that I’ve been a little more relaxed with my eating. Today we had a morning practice from 8-12 and then tonight we had the alumni game which I played in. I only counted about 3 hours of play even though just tonight was 2 b/c in the morning I did a lot more coaching than playing. I estimated about an hour of drills- hitting, passing, playing etc. So that gives me a total of 8.5 AP’s for today!! WOW! I don’t know if this is good or not, but I kind of feel like I’m getting to the point where my body is (normally) satisfied with eating within my points range & I generally make the healthier choices now… I kind of feel like I don’t really need to count as much- especially when I’m earning so many AP’s. Is that bad??? Anyway… I semi- tracked today. I am normally more lax on Friday just cause I know I’ve got the points to blow on my first day… doesn’t normally turn out too bad though… So here’s my menu- Only 19 days left till BC!! :D

***** EDIT/UPDATE- Ok so I didn’t chose the yogurt after I got home…  my hubby shoved a Mike’s Hard Lemonade in my hand and then later on after I went shopping I had some of those Herr’s whole grain pretzels.   So… minus the 3 for no yogurt & add 6.5 for Mike’s & pretzels….. that would be…  -3 FP’s.  Not bad…

Gonna try a count down I think…  31 more days until Boot Camp starts!!  :D  So, here’s my menu for today!

As I said in today’s earlier post, we went to a lobster party- hubby’s work…  Other than that… which wasn’t awful (I don’t think….  haven’t totaled yet! ) I don’t think it was too bad.  It was really hard to keep track at the party…  so most will be guestimates…  but I (mostly) tried to be “good”!
